Tabatha Cox is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor who works with families, couples and individuals. She also provides clinical supervision to other professionals seeking certifications or licensure in North Carolina for the treatment and prevention of substance abuse.

Tabatha will always provide the best quality of services possible to all. Making a decision to attend counseling services can come with many stigma’s attached and Tabatha strives to provide services that allow individuals to realize it’s OK to need or ask for help on occasions throughout our life. As a counselor, Tabatha offers a judgement free zone where she can assist individuals in living their best life. She has over 20 years of experience working with individuals who have suffered with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Tabatha believes in equality and providing the best service possible to anyone that is courageous in attending counseling and/or substance abuse services.

Tabatha has extensive training in crisis services, substance abuse, and mental health. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, where she graduated with honors. Tabatha strives for excellence in all that she does and she will do the same for you to assist you in attaining your own personal treatment goals.

When Tabatha is not at work, you can find her supporting her children in their interests and hobbies and spending time with her family. Other times you can find her on a beach enjoying the sun, sand, and sound of the waves.

Tabatha believes in the therapeutic process and the ability for others to improve their quality of life. Tabatha does not believe people are broken, rather we all have times in our lives where things may become difficult and sharing that with another person is healing. She looks forward to putting her skills to use and cannot wait to work with you!
